First quarter summery

Axfood’s consolidated sales for the period January–March totalled SEK 9,566 m (8,946), an increase of 6.9%.

Retail sales for Group-owned stores increased by 5.8% during the period.
Like-for-like sales increased by 4.3% during the period. -
Operating profit for the period was SEK 329 m (246).

Profit after financial items was SEK 328 m (242) for the period.

Profit after tax totalled SEK 256 m (189) for the period, and earnings per share were
SEK 4.88 (3.57). -
Axfood’s goal for 2015 is to exceed the level of profit achieved in 2014.
